We also use the function to block thousands of known executables from our networks to prevent hacking and abuse. We also found that it discovered 0 day exploits which our virus checkers were missing.

We have released a significant amount of storage and network traffic by detecting and removing MP3 and video files from our network. The users are informed that we monitor the network but not how, and enables us identify exactly what they are up to. The majority of users are no problem but in a college as large as this you always get a few students who try to push the boundaries of acceptable use.

I must say that we have been very pleased during the short time we have been running your software, an active system like this sure beats passive IDS solutions and is a lot easier and faster to get running fully operational, I simply love the ability to catch certain kinds of abuse the way Cybersight is able to ( although certain students certainly don't like it ) and in addition to the security provided by the system, all the information that it can gather regarding the entire network, which is valuable indeed, now we've got a sensible way to gather information on usage and thus have a simple way to optimize the utilization of equipment.
