David has had over 25 years experience in security systems and IT management. Starting his career in the UK defense industry David worked on projects for Racal Datacom regarding secure and encrypted communication systems. David was one of the founding team members of Racal Transcom who developed one of the first secure credit card payment terminals. David also designed the first terminals to be used by British Airways for their Executive Club frequent flyer programme. David moved into IT and computer system management for a UK government agency, and was one of the early adopters of secure communications and antivirus systems over a wide area network, and initiatives for the UK Data Protection act. David was then one of the founding members for Clarity Commerce Solutions plc, taking the company from a start up to the UK stock exchange. During this period David was responsible at board level for the design and implementation of secure retail and payment systems for a wide range of market places.

David is now the C.E.O of Cryptic Software, and has quickly identified where Cryptic’s Cybersight provides the extra level of security and protection through proactive monitoring and intelligence services to combat the rising and sophisticated threat landscape faced by all organisations today and the years to come.
